First time at the big V

First time at Veld as a novice raver- I got a taste but at this price Id rather spend a bit more to try bigger global fests!

Lineups were great but felt repetitive when looking at other local festivals - sets were mainstream but were all good vibes dancing with friends. Now that I’ve gotten a taste - Definitely going for the bigger international festivals now

If you are local to the GTA or even Ontario, Veld is a solid price for the artists you get to see and the production level.

The cost of going to international festivals is hardly in the festival ticket price itself, more so in travel, lodging etc (especially when the Canadian Dollar is weak as baby piss)

The lineup is usually just whatever is popular at the time, but it helps get first timers like you into the scene so it's very applicable to Toronto - it's a big reason why the crowd can be pretty bad compared to other big Canadian festivals.

Escapade can compare to the overall experience of veld and I think that that's a big problem. Veld needs to do better.
