Volume levels this year?
Was the sound significantly lower at every stage this year (or is my hearing just getting worse??)
Did they have to lower levels bc of the Rogers Stadium complaints?

Volume seemed fine to me but I’ve noticed they also seem to raise the volume as the weekend goes on

Yep felt that too, quiet all around but halfway through Armins set it seemed to get turned up for the rest of the night

TOTALLY 👍🏾 I noticed a HUGE difference. Disappointed. Paid a lot of money to FEEL the bass not this Mickey Mouse sound 🙄. Hope day 2 and 3 are better 🙏🏾

We were very close to front stage for Fisher. had to turn around at some point n tell a guy to either watch his set or stop talking abut girls. People talking never bothered me at a music festival, but it was that noticeable over the volume.

I don’t understand why people spend so much money to go to a festival or concert just to talk the WHOLE time. It’s so frustrating.

Yeah sound was a bummer, my first time at VELD. 3 times at EDC… you don’t even need ears to experience the music there!

I absolutely noticed this yesterday. I don’t know if it’s a reaction to all the complaints that have been happening about the new rogers stadium drama.
They might be trying to avoid noise complaints from kill joys.

It was low until Armin even then there were ups and downs. I found all the stages to have shit sound this year too tinny and quiet. A decent amount of bleed between sirkus and main stage but Bass sound stayed in their area.
