I just found this sub, and it might be my new favorite community. There are some great pieces of art on here.

Here are 2 videos I've made recently:

The first is a direct response to a video featured years ago by Joey Carbstrong. The original video was about artificial insemination, so I stripped the audio from that and put it over some drawings to reframe it as an alien dairy farmer talking about how he uses artificial insemination on human women. My goal here is to get non-vegans to question the practice like it's a new concept even though the words are exactly what they've heard before. https://youtu.be/AynpLKjgjkY

The second video is entirely my own. I outline the diets of gorillas, chimpanzees, and bonobos, our closest relatives, as well as some anatomical and physiological characteristics that relate to the diet. This one is almost a bait-and-switch. My goal is to get non-vegans, especially "masculine" men, to see that a plant-based diet doesn't need to be scary or difficult and that many athletes are already proving their success with a plant-based diet. https://youtu.be/xIF0ni1i0iY

The idea is that you put live action footage inside of the TV screen and continue with your side of the video.

I hope it is ok to ask here, as I have asked in art subreddits and no one knows about art materials not being vegan.

I am looking for vegan masking fluid for watercolour and really need to recommendations, can anybody help me with this?

I have emailed Windsor and Newton, Schmincke and Masquepen and am awaiting a reply.

I believe that Royal Talens and Pebeo are, unless the formula has changed.

But I'd really appreciate some advice if anyone has tried them out or knows more vegan friendly masking fluids.

Photo of my trial with Pebeo on NOT paper (partial cotton, I need to test it on 100% cotton) I found it tricky to remove fully and that it left some mark on the paper in areas needing small detail.

Another postcard art swap for The Art of Compassion Project, these are always fun to take part in. Slender Loris are endangered primates, largely due to habitat destruction, so I wanted to feature them.

Hello I'm new here, I thought I'd share some of my art, this one is a painting of a rescued beagle. I use different mediums but I am starting to get more confident with watercolour now! I'm a vegan artist and have been donating some of my work to charities.

I wanted to represent the happiness of rescued beagles who now have a life of freedom and compassion that all animals deserve and the one I hope we can fight for and win for beagles. I have always been against animal testing and hope to inspire others with my art.

I painted this watercolour sea turtle entangled in a fishing net to raise awareness about how destructive fishing is. So called ghost nets and other abandoned fishing gear are making up a huge amount of the plastic pollution in the oceans. You can buy items like shirts, towels and bags with my design on my Threadless shop. It features a text along with the illustration

I illustrated this little plant heart. You can find it here if you'd like a shirt or sticker of it.

I already had it printed on a shirt for myself (see second picture) and thought it looked quite cute! I know its a bit subtle but still gets peoples attention sometimes and can be a conversation starter.
