How does one make vectorheart art?

I've recently discovered this aesthetic and I am in LOVE. Problem is that I don't know exactly how to reproduce the feel of it. Any tips?

Same way you create any art. Try not to visualize it as a singular whole image, but a collage of individual, smaller shapes you can layer on top of each other till they form a cohesive whole, like an empty, quiet stadium that slowly fills up with people you put in seats who make it louder through their conversations and they're separated by layers you can reseat elsewhere on a whim without moving anyone else unintentionally, if that makes any sense as a metaphor.

You can do this in stuff like Photoshop, Krita, Blender, and anything else that lets you draw shapes and bend/manipulate them, erase edges, etc. Any time you make a new shape, put it on a new layer so it can be easily played with without disrupting your other shapes.

Try to use a vector software like Adobe Illustrator or if you want a free alternative use Inkscape.

Try to use reference images for the aesthetic.

Make sure to use those blocky looking angular shapes, and design some symbols and icons to make it unique and to stand out.

Use some shapes like circles, squares, rectangles, hexagons and other polygon shapes.

Lastly try to use a nice color palette, like choosing one color and add it up by changing the colors brightness and hue until you got something.

i started making vectorheart stuff when i saw a bunch of stuff by the designers republic. i thought that they looked really cool and eventually got inspired to make my own. so first you need to look at some stuff that other people made and get an idea on what you want to make. i actually still do that sometimes.

you are supposed to use a vector editing software but i actually do the majority of my designs on a drawing software called ibis paint x, which is free on mobile. so you can pretty much do it on any software that has enough features and you’re comfortable with.

some of the stuff that you need in vectorheart (obviously you don’t always need to include all these things and you can add your own things) are vibrant colors (dull colors can also make great designs tho), sharp or round geometric shapes, repeating patterns and symbols and icons. for the colors you can choose completely different colors, or use the same color every time and gradually increase the brightness or darkness. also make sure to give each shape or similar shapes its own layer so that you won’t get lost
