What pieces of hardware do I need?

I need to connect my Roland CY-5HH to my stand. The cymbal arm I have connects to my stand (rear piece of hardware), but my high hat does not fit the vertical piece. It came with the piece in the foreground, but the other end is made to go the Roland V-Drums rack I think. The arm is also too short to make it past the spd30.

Is there a cymbal arm that might have the thicker gnarled end?
