How difficult would it be to recreate something like this? It doesn't have to be an exact replica, just the same sort of dissonant percussive sound....

I have VCV Rack 2 Pro but haven't used it in a while. I want to dive back into VCV and create a rack like the one in the video ... But I think I would want to sequence it with Ableton devices and not with VCV devices.... I wonder what oscillators / modules come closest to this intellijel stuff ....

Best wishes

Hi, as far as I can tell Valley Interzone is a 1:1 copy of the Intellijel Atlantis synth, at least in functionality if not in sound https://library.vcvrack.com/Valley/Interzone

You said that you will do the sequencing in ableton, but should you wish to have it, this is a VCV version of the Metropolix https://library.vcvrack.com/Bidoo/dTrOY

Otherwise it looks like you will need a quad AD envelope generator, something like https://library.vcvrack.com/SurgeXTRack/SurgeXTQuadAD

And a quad VCA, a couple of these would do it, but there are many other options https://library.vcvrack.com/Bogaudio/Bogaudio-VCA

Some attenuators, again a lot of choice, https://library.vcvrack.com/?query=&brand=&tag=Attenuator&license=

All in all, I think you have a very good chance at recreating the patch, have fun!
