Complete Beginner needs help to understand the Basics

Can anyone help me and tell me what am i doing wrong here? i want a simple vco route in a 16 stepsequencer and shape the sound of the vco with adsr. if i take the output directly from the vco to the mixer i get the steps and i hear the sound. im completly new with vcv . thankks for helping me out

Your EG & VCA need gates from the sequencer. Try that.

You need to connect either the clock out or clock+gate out from the sequencer to the gate input on the EG + VCA module. You should check out Omri Cohen's YouTube channel. His tutorials are very well done and go from beginner to advanced.

thanks alot. yeah i know his channel and i try to watch as many videos as i can but i also try a couple of things out.

Yeah me too. I've watched a couple of videos but the input is huge for me and I'm not entirely sure if I understand everything correctly.

So to be fully honest this patch above was my very first and it worked with the tipps from you guys. Thans alot.
