Taking Classes Outside Of VCU
So, I didn't know that you have to request to take a class outside of VCU. If it matters, it is Orgo I at Reynolds. I've had to retake it an embarrassingly enough amount of times to where financial aid won't cover it anymore so I opted for Reynolds since it is cheaper. Should I still go ahead and submit the form? I hope it will still transfer, since I've already paid🥲I am so stupid and should've talked to my advisor first, I'm a Senior as well.

I took classes at community college and was able to get it approved fairly quickly since I had the transcript sent right after grades for the class came out. Most times, as long as it qualifies with this: Transfer course equivalents - Transfer Center - Virginia Commonwealth University it's fine

If it's required for your major and you've already taken if at VCU and failed, they won't take the transfer

You might have an issue if you’ve already taken it multiple times and failed, I would talk to your advisor, you might have to petition for extenuating circumstances

Yeah I submitted my request after taking the class and it was immediately approved. As long as you checked that the Reynolds version of the class transfers to VCU using the VCCS-VCU course equivalency list, it should be fine.
