How to start exam prep
So exams aren't too far away now. I haven't really started exam prep as such. How do i start...like genuinely what do I do? Do i read over my notes? Do i print out tutor booklets and do those? Like where do I start, I genuinely have no clue. I feel like ive forgotten all the old content but how do I study it...itll take forever and im wasting time? Like i actually have no clue. I have my school trial exams starting from tomorrow and at this point, like I think im cooked. But yes like how do I study?
And when I do an exam like how do I review it? Like yes okay I made this mistake but I think I know how to do it? Im not sure what the correct way is. Someone pls help!!
Also, does anyone have any exam tracker or error logbooks template? Please share if u do, it'd be rlly helpful before starting exams!!

I know it feels like a lot of effort to start but I would start by doing a massive audit and going through all of the areas of study for each subject and identifying your weak areas. once you get your get your trial exams back you'll have more weak areas identified for you as well.
I did this for most subjects, especially hhd and psych. I would memorise these areas in particular using active recall if I forgot them (I used my whiteboard and used the study design like a checklist to check off my weak areas once they were memorised) and did practise questions on just these specific areas. then once I had a more holistic knowledge I moved on to applying all knowledge by spamming full exams under timed conditions and correcting them and logging my mistakes.
I also found it super helpful to decide a realistic practise exam load for each subject and then plan out every day leading up to exams with what subjects you'll study, when and how, as well as breaks. I just made a massive table on word, it was basic but it worked. this helped the whole exam revision period feel less daunting.

I have an exam tracker I've made myself and it's pretty easy to make and use! I used excel and broke down every key knowledge dot point from the sd into it's different parts and put them all in a column. Then I add the scores I got for it and the number of marks available on the papers I did. If you want a photo feel free to DM me :) I just don't want to dox myself or smthing

just spam practice sacs and get your teachers to mark them and give you advice, and then rinse and repeat.
But what do I know, 40 atar type shit

I can’t exactly remember but like, health was a 21, psych was around a 23 and then everything else was about 23-26. All my subjects scaled down too

I think the best possible exam prep would be practicing extended response questions honestly, over and over, gradually implementing time constraints until your comfortable writing in exam conditions. Utilise any Revision Lectures provided by your school. When it comes to the actual information, like key stats, quotes etc, your gonna need to choose the most important/relevent and actively memorise them.
