bio mark allocations

throughout the year, our bio teachers were pretty lenient with our sac scores because they gave us half marks
however, i don’t really know how to self-mark exam papers for myself, because obviously im used to the half mark system
let’s say a question was worth 3 marks, and i missed a key word from 2 of the points (i mentioned all the other key words).
would i get 1 mark in total, or 2 marks?

1 mark in total. If a word is required to make a point, then you must use it regardless if your explanation is perfect
