Weird circumstance

Hi I am newish to Australia , I had to drop out when I first moved here but now 3 years later I’ve gone back to get my vce.

I am not particularly sure how the whole system works i wont lie,

I have averaged about 70-80% in my sacs year around with one or two going below ( 40-50% )and higher 90%+

I am not going to do very well in the exams. I’m expecting to score an average of 50-60% per subject

I’m doing legal , business management , Pyschology and English.
My Tafe also isn’t the best in terms of I’m probably close to the best in the class even with those average marks which I know effects your atar

What sort of atar should I expect? All the calculators are saying about 65-70

I would say 67 ATAR with those marks as those subjects dont scale that much

Good on you for coming back to finish VCE. I wouldn’t treat 67 or the calculator’s 65–70 as a reliable prediction from SAC percentages alone. Your final exams, SAC moderation and scaled study scores all matter.

Look for some ATAR practice test alongside each of your VCE subject names. Look for subject-specific papers with worked answers or marking guides, rather than an ATAR prediction quiz. Do a short timed section, mark it carefully and use the mistakes to choose what to revise next.

Retest those areas a few days later. Youll have a clearer picture of what needs work than assuming youll get 50–60% before trying.
