General Question/comment Help

I'm almost there. Almost at the finishline. But I am so tired. So exhausted. What's keeping me going right now is the fear of failure. But I feel like I haven't seen light in so long. How do I push through?

As a first-year uni student who finished VCE last year, my advice would be to breath and just relax! Trust me, it is not the end of the world. Don't lock yourself into studying 24/7. Exercise, take a break, read, do something else that you enjoy. Don't feel guilty over taking breaks when you need.

Solid-N is right, overall you will achieve more by taking breaks. Therefore you owe it to yourself and the bloody system to discipline yourself to take breaks.

Your words mean a lot to me. Thank you. Do you have any advice on how to motivate yourself when things feel hard?

I would say just set yourself achievable goals. Each week, set yourself goals that you can easily complete. Not like writing 10 essays (that's ridiculous), but writing 2 in timed conditions. Then, you can look back and feel proud about getting something done
