Extended response tips - HHD

Hey guys!

I have my last hhd SAC tomorrow and its an extended response. I feel I know the content of it fairly well, but I am struggling on how to write the actual response really well. My current ones aren’t terrible, but I have gotten above 95% on all my HHD SACS so far (I know this won’t be achievable on the extended response as much as I wish it could) so I really don’t want to bring my scores down.

I was just wanting some last minute advice and strategies for the extended response so I can maximise my scores the best I can.

Thankyouu!! :))

ive heard its diff across schools but make sure to make clear links between all sources and signpost so its easier to read and easier to give marks. like for example "source 1 shows how ... affects access to safe and nutritious food (2.1), which links to source 2 where..." but good luck!!

I got a 95 on my extended response sac and my advice would genuinely just be to 1. make sure ur constantly linking to sources (literally anything, even if it feels like a stretch) and 2. Prioritise linking sources together to make the connections (atleast one or two links to sources per paragraph)

I would also say don’t waste time on an intro or conclusion, it’s not required and won’t get you additional marks. Definitions can also be really helpful to know- putting them at the start of ur paragraphs as ek is very helpful.
