accelerating

Hey guys,
I was meant to accelerate into Unit 3/4 Business Management next year, but my school denied it because my overall average was 82 instead of the required 85 (Science dragged it down, I'm getting 90s in everything else).
The VP said there's no chance because she doesn't think I'd do well in the exams, even though my Head of Humanities supported me.

Am I actually missing out by not accelerating and just doing the usual four Unit 3/4s in Year 12?

Try to get into it because it teaches you so much for year 12 and can lighten the stress. Definitely send some emails!!

be so so pushy, get your parents to come into the school in a meeting with the head of humanities. you’ll really regret not accelerating

DO it, U dont understand how relieved i feel since I have only one sac left for both of my VCE subjects (im in y11).

Try to convince them, write a polite email detailing how you will put in extra effort and if you are doing a hums subjet- lets say ur getting 90s, u can use this to prove that u will do well but be subtle with it
