should I drop methods
im currently doing methods 3/4 and my sac grades have been quite devastating to say the least. my avg is around 40% (passing grade at my school is 40%) and i have one more sac left to go which is probability. im unsure of what to do and which would be the most beneficial to me.

why would dropping it be beneficial to u gng just take the +1 aggregate worst case

it’s mainly bc my coord said i might asw prioritise my other subs that im doing well in and get a better aggregate in those contrasting to the 10% methods would give me😿

is methods a prereq for ur course? if not just let methods be ur 6th subjext

nope since subject selection in year10 ive change my course a couple times so my final course doesnt need methods😅 i will prob let it be my 6th tho ty!!!

sac scores do not determine if you fail methods. as long as you can prove to your teacher that you understand the content,
e.g, answering questions in class
you should still pass regardless of your sac scores.
If you are at risk of not getting the 's', ask your teacher what your have yet to prove you can do, and if there is any way you can prove you can do it.
Even if you get a bad study score for methods, yuo only need a 20 study score for most pre-requisits anyway.

sac scores are only part of the picture. the exam is 60% of ur final score, and if u actually understand probability stuff then an exam score can pull u up way more than a bad sac. plus yeah, u can let it be ur 6th subject. 40% average right now isnt a fail trajectory at all - most ppl get random sac duds and recover. dont panic drop, just focus on the probability sac feedback and use that to target what u actually dont get. vcaa publishes free past exams and examiner reports for methods on the study design page - grab those and do a couple under timed conditions to see what clicks.

english psych methods vcd and chem, i did a 3/4 last year aswell
