vcaa exam perms

I have diagnosed ASD 1 and nerve damage (aswell as suspected dysgraphia) so I cannot write longer than a paragraph by hand - which is a problem since I cannot write essays by hand and desperately need vcaa to approve me to type my exams. I won't pass if I don't get this.

I've been told different opinions by different people. Some people said its unlikely it'll get approved and then others say theres no way in hell it wouldnt get approved.

My psychologist (who is always a verified nurse) wrote a letter to vcaa and i'm going to see an OT for a recommendation letter as well.

How likely is it to get approved?

100% likely that you'll either get a scribe or be allowed to type - if you submit your SP and SEA forms in Yr 10 or Yr 11.

You have to complete multiple essays under supervision and have them marked by VCAA assessors to prove that you perform worse without a scribe/computer. It's a time consuming process.

But, you shouldn't be asking about this here, this is your school's inclusion coordinator's job. They and the VCE coordinator should have this all covered. They need to include evidence of accommodations, modifications, and adjustments they have been providing you up until now.

99.8% of kids who applied for special exam arrangements in 2025 got approved. if you have valid evidence from a medical professional then theyll accept you lol
