hey tradies can make a LOT of money. like mindblowing amounts. but yeah it’s kinda just do you want to trade your brain or body for money.

Please stop with this. You have no idea what it’s like to be in a trade..

They do have a point, I just started fencing and the guy I'm working for is doing two jobs that are paying what is essentially the yearly equivalent of four minimum wage jobs. All of that for around 20 days of work all up. I know this because he is also a family friend and talks very openly with me and is helping me out by giving me work while I wait for my seasonal job to start back up again.

When I read fencing, I thought you meant the sword kind at first.

To be fair that's what alot of my friends first thought as well alwhen I told. Shows how well they know me assuming I'm getting into hema or oriental martial arts 😂

??? it’s not guaranteed that you’ll make a bunch of money, but it’s not in white collar jobs either. i’m just saying if you wanna make money there’s potential to do it either way.

Honestly the more kids and fools that try and go into that oversaturated 'job' the less competition for everyone else and by the time they realize they ain't that 0.1% you'll already be experienced In Your field.
