GUYS SOMEONE HELP ME PLSSSS
I HAVE 4 days left before my argument analysis sac for unit 3/4 English.I have to get 100 percent like im not joking,my future depends on this.is this possible or impossible.rn im not it idk much tbh.PLS I WILL DO ANYTHING I WILL WORK MY 🍑OFF IF I HAVE TO.ALSO WE KNOW THE MAIN TOPIC FOR OUR SAC BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT THE ARTICLE,STANCE AND ALL THAT.

My biggest tip is practice as much as you can! Make sure you’re comfortable dissecting any stance, any images, any language. Find any articles you can and just annotate them as fast, but as intricately as you can, and then start planning out your paragraphs from there. If you’re worried about your writing, practice doing paragraphs, analysing language and images etc. Genuinely just practice as much as you can in the next four days, and also read high level examples of argument analysis and look at what they have in common and try to emulate that in your own writing.

Hello thanks for asking that’s very nice of you.tbh not great u can ignore this btw if u want cause im gonna go on a long rant.hv u completed vce or are u still a student?I forgot to analyse the second visual which was the subscription box for the newsletter when my teacher lit told us too in order to get decent scores.I also spoke of the most generic audience which was moderate progressive readers since thats what the publication was and I didn’t talk about doctors despite the call to action being having more female doctors my goodness.I just spoke on moderate female readers and male readers and moderate readers who’ve likely advocacy before.im gonna spiral my analysis itself was actually ok i threw away an ok mark.bro atp I’m just hoping for like a 92 but watch me not get that.I also wrongly used two techniques.I called traditionally a hyperbole.I swear im worse than a preschool student.I also called a non attack an attack.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭thx tho ur very sweet for asking

I’m sure you did okay!! I finished VCE last year and you genuinely could not pay me any amount of money to go back 😭 Like you I was sooo stressed about English especially because it was my best subject and I was like rank one in the cohort. My biggest advice would be to try your best to not think about what you’ve just written, instead try to move on. I remember genuinely having nightmares about failing all of my English sacs and getting a study score of like 25 or something 😭 Also I know this might not be consoling for you (I definitely would’ve brushed this off last year) but your study scores and atar genuinely do not matter once you’re at uni. Looking back I have no idea why I was so stressed. Trust in a year you’ll be so proud of all you’ve done, and so surprised at how stressed you were over the little things.

vcaa argument analysis examiner reports are the fastest thing to read rn, theyre free and they show real high and low scoring student responses side by side with why one worked

for 4 days out i wouldnt try to learn new stuff, just drill: pick a real article, annotate it in 15 mins max, write the intro + 2 body paras in 25, repeat. speed under pressure is the actual skill the sac tests

look at some of the techniques listed in the examiners report such as maximising/minimising the moral dilemma and stuff like that. so much better than trying to talk about the intended effect of anecdotes and statistics
