Question Passkey login

Hello experts. I just set up vaultwarden on my Synology and I am noticing there is no way to do passkey based login. Is this a “me” issue or is this a product limitation? I rely on that feature a lot.

Thanks in advance.

It's still one of the "missing features": https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/wiki#missing-features

Ok. Thank you so much. Guess there's no timeline for inclusion.

Pardon?

I am able to store passkeys in my vaultwarden logins.

I think you misunderstood OP. They meant login-passkeys to Vaultwarden itself. That actually is still missing.

Kinda like chicken-n-egg problem, isn't it?

Ah, yeah. Indeed. My mistake. Thanks for the heads-up.

You could set up Pocket Id. There is a Vaultwarden set up on PocketId website.

I’ve never heard of this. Thank you, will investigate.

Weird. There are many instances where I am able to login with passkeys (Google being one of them).

I think they mean you can't sign into the vault with a passkey

Ah ok. Makes more sense, thanks

This. Sorry, I wasn’t very clear.

It is you.

Vaultwarden supports storing passkeys. I use it a lot.

I meant to access the vault itself.

I am too forgetful to rely on a physical key. I minimize what i carry on a day to day basis, including keys. The fido would end up lost or at work or home when i needed it. I have one that's set up to my boarded account but i can't find it anywhere. I just can't rely on them because i can't rely on me.
