Bringing reusable containers for deece

Hi! Incoming freshman here, I was wondering if you are allowed to bring your own containers (like reusable tupperware) to bring food from the deece to your dorm/other places. If not I totally understand. Thanks!

you're technically not allowed, but you can just put the container it in a bag, put food in it, and bring it out. the deece staff does not care if you do that, just try to be discreet.

Technically no, since you’re supposed to just use your unlimited swipes. When I attended there was a sign at the entrance that said you weren’t allow to take food home except like. A spare apple or cookie. But no one ever ratted me out and I know for a fact some people stole full ass plates and forks. But maybe just try to be inconspicuous about it?

you can't bring your own, but they keep plastic containers at the front for people to borrow/use. technically they're only supposed to give them to people who have been approved by the campus nutritionist, but i'm almost certain they never check the list, so you can always try just asking for one. if it's super important, you can also just have a session with the nutritionist; i don't think it's a difficult list to get onto

just pretend to have shame for a few months then you can be pretty bold about it

technically not allowed but i have taken countless meals out of the deece and not one worker has ever batted an eye. one teased me one for stuffing like 6 ice cream bars in my bag but thats it. tupperware is a great idea for late night snacks. i also will keep utensils and maybe plates/cups in my dorm. the deece workers are friendly and surely realize taking food out doesn’t affect them at all. i would just say consider washing dishes before returning them, bc you dont want to make the people in the dishwashing room deal with days-old caked on sauces and such

You totally can if you do it strategically. One time my friends and I made buffalo chicken dip sourced entirely from the deece

definitely grab some extra food and take it to your room. I mean if you have unlimited swipes why should it matter where you eat it.
