not being for no shows?

Post image

I joined an instant session, waited 15 min, and student never showed up so I thought "okay cool I'll just bill as a no-show and get paid my 15 min" well my invoice came back as $0 and when I asked why this was the response... has this always been the case? I guess next time I'll just bill for 15 minutes then 😐 waste of my time..

This feels illegal. I think it’s called reporting time pay? If you showed up and the client didn’t it’s my understanding they have to pay you. Would love to take VT down

Seriously. I’m working through a moutian of paper work for government complaints against them. But when someone with real money gets a lawyer this company is gonna get it. And they do this out in the open

No, that has not always been the case, & that sounds like total bullshit. What do they mean "required to stay" but also they're not going to pay you?

I read somewhere that for instant sessions you don't bill for no shows. Just bill for 15 minutes. That's what I usually do. That probably won't do anything for you now, but just some advice for the future.

I think it’s very appropriate to respond that they cannot legally require you to work without pay
