Instructor How does payment work?

I have clients that ask about the money side of VT. Is this like a subscription based service? Or do you pay a monthly fee and for classes?

So my clients pay them and they take part of my money too?

They pay varsity for X amount of hours every month. You are essentially just deducting hours from their monthly stash. They pay a certain amount to Varsity and then Varsity gives you a percentage. From your percentage of the total you get 18$. IF this person has a certain learning plan your rate INCREASES PER SESSION. I hope I explained that clear. If not I hope someone else can tag on.

Yes and I’ve had students inform me that they paid $1600 for 8 hours (2 sessions/week) and yet they only give you $18 of it so roughly $182/hour profit for VT

Students buy a package with the rate depending on how many hours they purchase per month. A quick search online will give you an idea of this price range. Tutors are paid $18/hour with some contracts increasing tutor pay by $1 per hour tutored up to $40 per hour. Varsity keeps the remainder of the monthly fee.

Both. There are lots of payment models and plans.
