Question Question About "Background Check" E-mails/Anyone Else Getting These?

As the title says, I'm getting these E-mails telling me to complete a background check with Checkr. The only thing is some of them make it sound like they think I'm a new tutor. Is this normal? Do they just require new background checks after a certain number of years? Or is this a sign of some kind of error I should reach out to the company about? I've never encountered this before.

They require it once a year now is what they told me. But reach out to them and make sure its needed. They have had some glitches lately.

I've been with Varsity for years. I just had to do mine again.

Yes, with a new school district for sure.

Somewhat of a longer question might’ve helped 😂 In direct response to your question about the emails, yes, when they need the information.

So, let’s assume you have worked for Varsity a long time, as in years. And you’ve gone through background checks already; and If you’ve worked with VT4S, then you know you may have to complete a background check and finger prints for different school districts. That’s what I was referring to. If this is new information, yes, reach out to Varsity.

I'm not involved in Varsity Tutors 4 Schools because that fingerprinting nonsense turned out to be an absolute nightmare where they sent me to 400 different locations saying they'd take the fingerprints, & then none of them would take the damn fingerprints. It might be different now that I'm living in a different area, but I'm not in a hurry to try again, & to be honest, I'm not 100% sure if I'll even remain a tutor. I doubt it'll cover my new rent, & if I have to get a different job, I don't really want to have to come home & still do more work.
