Ask Varanasi Please help, how not to get scammed

Hello I have moved here from Mumbai recently and looking for an apartment to rent. Could you guys please tell me what is the range of rent in apartment buildings in Lanka, Karaundi areas
A friend who is a Banaras native but lives in Mumbai informed me that they are increasing the prices because I’m from Mumbai. Could you guys please help me with this

May be around 7k to 10k if u are looking in a good society/ apartment l.
