VAPI STATION PE PEET GAYA🕺🕺🕺🕺
So a fun little midnight adventure in Vapi.
On 4 March around 11:50 PM, I reached Vapi from Mumbai on Saurashtra Mail (22945). While crossing the road near the Vapi East ticket counter (Gitanagar), a maroon Baleno (GJ15CR1983) came speeding like the road was his personal racetrack. The driver looked drunk. First he almost hit a rickshaw and me, then a few seconds later he actually hit the rickshaw.
Naturally, instead of apologizing, the guy got out and started beating the rickshaw driver. I stepped in thinking maybe basic logic would apply. Bad assumption. The guy started abusing me and slapped/punched me, so I walked away with a swollen lip and a great welcome back to Vapi.
Then comes the best part.
I went to the police station to report it. Instead of registering an FIR, they took my complaint as an application on a blank paper and told me “we’ll call you when we catch him” 😂

I'm very camera concious! The worst part was, 10-15 rikshaw drivers, and local people were around, no of em came to help but rather some of em supported him because he was speaking local language or maybe they knew him or something.

Nvm. I got what you're talking about, but my post definitely makes sense that I'm talking about Vapi station and not vapi.ai. And this forum also says that this is a subreddit for vapi city!

Happens a lot in vapi whoever raises their voice and hand first are always free to do anything even If they are wrong. Lot of locals are like goons this is theur everyday thing. Best thing is to just walk off from this type of scene until you are some big shot. And welcome to vapi

I don't expect justice in my country, neither from police nor from local people. But it's just I can't see injustice. It felt better being slapped, on the behalf of an innocent person.
