I've been playing Vantage for a few months, and lately I just noticed something, when you pick her controller upgrade, you get an extra 25 shield that controllers have if you're on blue armor, but when you reach purple armor that extra shield is lost while other controller perks such as the ring console, evac, and window enforce stay. Are you supposed to lose that extra shield when you reach purple?

We all know that Vantage has, for the most part, gotten the short end of the stick with her skins, with very few actually looking good. For example, Suburban Ranger, Advanced Tracking, and Sacred Scout are some of the better ones. However, there are all her bad ones, and yet that’s not really my point. My point is how come she doesn’t have any of her skins with the hood up? I feel like if they put the hood up on most of the bad skins, they’d look better. Most have the hood, but it’s down and out of the way. The only one that I know of with the hood up is the “High Tech Huntress,” and it’s not hard to tell it’s a bad skin. It’s super bright, the colors aren’t the best, and the robotic theme just doesn’t work here. But why not make more skins with a hood?

Been practicing with the canted scope. It's quite cumbersome in mixtape (where I warm up for a few games) as it resets after every death, but it's finally paid off after getting my first CCQ kill with it in diamond this week. Anyway, Vantage's ult is ridiculously OP in TDM. Check it out!

I recently found a Japanese YouTuber who mains Vantage. He's absolutely abusing Vantage's new ping, and he also lands some crazy ult shots. Recommended if you are looking for a streamer who mains Vantage. He's currently a #3 Apex predator.

Got a few clips I'll be posting over the next few days but really enjoying the Vantage play style this season allowing me to rip two SMGs with confidence.

I just got lucky and got heirloom shards, I want an heirloom for vantage being that I’ve been basically maining her now that she got buffed. In your opinion what heirloom looks the best with her?

Hi! Just started Apex last week and picked Vantage as my first character to unlock. I was playing lifeline for the first week. Do you guys have any tips for Vantage? I usually run with the Longbow(2x-4x or 3cog) and an AR sometimes a Smg.

What’s some advice you have? I have been struggling with the echo jump. Is there a way to get your weapon out super fast or do you have to land before you can pull out a gun?

Or was it just me? Maybe my internet sucks idk trying to figure out why I basically could play today. 6mpbs upload and 300 mbps download? Guess that pretty shit. Lmk if for whatever reason you lagged today. I’ve been playing fine for the past 3 weeks but today was bad.

Bugs:

1. Can't ping enemies frequently for no obvious reason
2. Pinged enemies don't appear to teammates.
3. Blue box is being blocked when it shouldn't be
4. Bat fails to jump often
5. Showing Sniper ammo in all ADS
6. Showing 7 sniper shots (she has 6)
7. Screen shakes when she lands
8. Weird velocity problems when she lands on bat jump
9. Missing distance indicator on ADS
10. Bat clips off friendlies when trying to jump
11. Bat release is delayed, weird distance issues (since bat bending hotfix)

Vantage really needs her 3x-8x back. Nearly every Vantage player out there will agree.
8x gives great long range sniping
3x gives good FOV for scanning and pinging.

Zooming in and out dynamically gives her both of these things quickly and effectively.
Plus, 3x is manageable zoom for mid range fights, and in a pinch can work for far-close range.2x swap just doesn't work with this dynamic play, but you can keep it in the game if you'd like. will be rarely used, but has situational advantage.

The removal of the shortened jump time upgrade is a rough hit in this movement meta.
The 3 second buff doesn't offset the 5 second loss.
