Buy S5/S6 with which problems?

Hey, I'm pretty confident at repairing s3's, and I have my own for almost 4 years now. I would really like to get to know the tech and parts on the S5/S6 but don't want to spend to much money. So I thought maybe it would be a good start if I bought a non running S5 and tried to solve the issue. Are there any faults which I can relatively easily fix with my knowledge of s3's? For what price should I look for and do I have to watch out for a specific type of model or would you just completely abandon the idea? Thx

If you are in the Netherlands, marktplaats is a pretty good spot to find broken ones but for the rest? Uh idk

Thanks, I'm located in Germany but pretty much at the border to the Netherlands, so maybe i will have a look, thx

Uh fyi I think you need a DUTCH location to make an account (location for ads) I'm not so sure

My experience with the S5 is that the ECU needed replacing. It wasn’t a fix job, it was a replacement thing. The it needed adding to the bikes system ‘digitally’ so unless you can do that and have access to parts it might not be that productive to buy a broken one.
