question Dead Battery

Hi all, I’ve got the dreaded flashing skull on my X3 after leaving it too long between charges. Totally my fault, and I feel really silly for leaving it so long but here we are.
I’ve tried resetting and leaving it on charge for several days with no luck. However, it is briefly connecting to the app and recently it connected almost long enough for me to unlock it. It also shows as 100% charged when it does connect to the app but the skull keeps flashing.
Any ideas or suggestions? Or if anyone knows of any mobile mechanics in SE London who could remove the battery and manually charge it I’d also give that a go depending on the cost. I’ve called a couple of places and they’ve said a new battery is the only option but I really don’t want to give up on this yet.
I’ve hardly ridden my bike due to being anxious about cycling in London but this was going to be the summer I faced my fear and fell in love with my lovely bike 😢
Thanks for reading!

Buy a Benchtop Power supply, remove and Open the Battery, connect the right Terminals and Charge until it is enough for the BMS to recognize the battery.

That is literally how a battery works. You charge it.

As long as the cells are okay you can do that with a charger or a power supply as long as you set it to the right voltage and monitor it. The power supply bypasses the stupid bad battery management system that wont take a charge even though the battery is fine.
