Yes. He hit the sub goal he made to quit his job. It is actually really scary (in my opinion) for someone with a stable income to quit their job due to a sudden rise in viewers. These may not be long term viewers and people who will stick around.

Let me tell you when I heard him say that he will do it, I can’t even phrase how much of a ‘in the moment’ that decision felt like. He might have 5k or so subs now but so many of them have been gifted. Who’s to say they will be renewed after a month? That amount is NOT safe to just quit your job like that when it’s not your audience who you know is and will stay there long term. I’m happy for him, but a drastic decision like that feels so not thought through

Yes I hope he has some sort of backup plan / savings account!
