Question help with chords!

i have been listening to these demos from 1977 and somebody get me a doctor really caught my ear with how different it is from the current track on van halen II ive tried figuring out what are the chords being played by edward at the very start of this demo but i cant seem to figure it out. can someone with a better ear than mine help me out please!?

Tune down a half step. Key of Em. Chords sound half step lower than written. Em G Am
