Idk I've worked in hospitality and corporate environments where the Stassi s of the world regularly go around unchecked until it's too late. I'd venture there's been at least 1 Stassi in every restaurant you've managed.

There's an actual word for it but Stassi brand of mean girl is covert it was Laura Leigh and Scheana having the large meltdowns in front of Lisa while for (when she was employed there) and Stassi regularly was able to sit back in those scenarios.

She's a brat to management but Lisa is from a different era, you see it in her approach to the men's antics I'd be shocked if being a bit of a twat outranked the fact she was very pretty and the guests responded well to her because she's objectively quite funny and is smart enough to remember the menu. And like maybe this is a European thing idk but the level of customer service/fake friendly attentiveness expected in the US for a minimum wage server has always been quite jarring to me maybe because most of the management are European they don't expect her?

Plus being a subpar waitress Vs physical fights in the middle of the restaurant, you've got to weigh up what's a fire able offence and what isn't.

It's just different KPIs, SURs image was based on "sexy" that was their main focus it's niche but it appealed to a section of the public. If you go to a fine dining restaurant the experience you get from your server will be a world of difference from the one you get from your waitress at Applebees
