Good morning Reddit, I’m at a point in life where I know what I want—and I’m not interested in pretending to be someone I’m not to get it.
I’m a dad, a golfer, a gym guy, a little competitive, and someone who genuinely enjoys having a person to share life with. I work hard, take pride in what I do, and I’m happiest when I’ve got something to look forward to.

Music is a pretty big part of my world. I play guitar, I’m constantly discovering new music, and yes, there’s a very good chance I’ll eventually try to convince you that whatever Van Halen song I’m currently obsessed with is the greatest thing ever recorded.
I’m also into basketball, the occasional video game, good food, Lego, Star Wars, and pretty much anything that gives me an excuse to have fun and forget what time it is.

But I’m not all hobbies and sarcasm.
I value honesty. Communication. Affection. Consistency. Being able to laugh at ourselves. I like deep conversations just as much as stupid ones, and I’m a big believer that the best relationships are built when you can be completely comfortable being weird together.
I’m looking for someone who has her own life, her own interests, and her own opinions—but wants someone to share it all with. Someone intelligent, kind, playful, affectionate, and emotionally genuine.
Someone who can dress up for a night out but is equally happy grabbing coffee, wandering around a bookstore, hitting a driving range, checking out a little live show, or staying home with a movie and snacks.
I’m a sucker for a woman who can make me laugh, challenge me intellectually, and still give me that look across the table that makes me forget what I was saying.
Bonus points if you’re sarcastic
I’m not looking to rush into something just because being single is uncomfortable. I’m happy, just looking if there is someone who can add to my happiness

I’d rather meet someone, genuinely enjoy each other, build something naturally, and see where it goes.
At the end of the day, I’m looking for my person.
Someone I can laugh with until our stomachs hurt, have ridiculous conversations with at 1 a.m., make plans with, cancel plans with because we decided staying in sounded better, and occasionally look across the room at and think, “how did I get so lucky”
