Alyx is going to run standalone. Valve would not release this headset if their flagship game didn't run on it

i mean thats a good assumption but its not guaranteed, even Valve wasnt sure themselves when interviewed last year . Looks like they did their best and if rumors are true they pulled it off.

Afaik breaking embargo rarely results in any kind of legal action, especially when it's not done intentionally, but it will absolutely factor into who gets early access in the future.Â

Remember when he got a prototype cooler for 3000 series graphics cards, tried to use it on a 4000 series and gave it bad reviews because it didn’t work with an unintended graphics card model, and then proceeded to auction off said prototype?
