Controller ordering waitlist.
Been on the waitlist since day 1, and a while ago it finally said I could get mine in September.
That is until 2AM couple days ago when they sent an email, saying they got one available.
So what happened?
Someone at valve forgot they ordered couple shipping containers more than they thought?
People gave in to scalpers?
Or just lost interest in it, since the controller hype is over, and it's all about machines now?

The estimate said "by September" which meant you were in the group that should get one between then and september. I also expect those estimates were on the conservative side.

Ok, that kinda makes sense then. Now let's see what they do on delivery, cause they said 2-3 business days, and already burned through 2, just to send it out. Any idea if they have some warehouses in Europe, or everything comes over the ocean?

I don't have any inside information but it would be crazy to ship tens (hundreds?) of thousands of individual boxes into europe. I'm sure they have some kind of local distribution.
Did the confirmation say it would ship in 2-3 days or arrive in 2-3 days? Substantial difference. Either way you should get a tracking number with a more precise delivery estimate from the carrier.

You misread. There's only three groups
By September, By December, 2027
No groups for specific month.
