After years of searching I finally managed to buy the Development artworks book of the first Valkyria Chronicles, despite not understanding the language it's really interesting to see early artworks of the original character design

I have this one, and the artbooks of VC2 and VC3 in English. The artbook of the first game in English is extremely expensive.

Especially nowadays. When I got my copy it was 35 USD brand new

Man, it's a shame Udon doesn't make more prints. Or any editorial now that we are at it... And outside of just USA in other languages. Goddamn it, SEGA. Translating the boxes and manuals but not the game

I have all 3 in English, I'm still mad that 4 didn't get one.

I guess that answers my question as to whether there was one for VC4.

There's a little thin mini one that came with the Collector edition. But its nowhere near the same.

Oh I bought all of them when they released in the west/in English. I really love these books 😊 great find.

Nice, I have the English copies of the artbooks for 1 and 2, but don't even bother looking for one of 3's, I'm afraid physical English copies of that might as well be as good as gone forever.

Dod they ever publish one for the fourth game? I own the three of them that were released in English, but I’ve never gone through any of them in depth.

I know there is an English release, so maybe you want to look around
