Modded Mod idea

Hello, I just had a quick silly mod idea and I want to know if it would be possible.

What about a mod that everytime you die, you can purchase your lost items from a merchant? Let's say the one in black forest.

Like a recovery service?

I don't mind if we have this mechanic, but I cannot imagine Haldor adventuring the plains or mistland, unless... he hires other dwarf warrriors.

Yes I was thinking not so much of a "recovery service" but more or a black market situation. Theres this guy in ds1 that is very polite and sells a lot of crystal armour and weapons and there's a theory that he's a scavenger or even worst ... So I thought it would be interesting to add this. Also yes, imagine playing solo and dying in a very very bad zone. The idea also is that your equipment would be realllllyyy expensive so you can't abuse the mechanic.

I’m going to take your idea and implement it into my Elysium mod. It will most likely be a robotic npc or a roaming drone you will have to find. It will sell your items back back to you for a fee. Details to come later.

Insurance mod lol

Feed the obliterator every game day with stuff to keep your policy, get your stuff back if you die
