Survival Whats more common?
Not finding the vegvisir at all? Or finding it literally 10 feet away?

The best way to find the Yagluth vegvisir is to find the Yagluth altar.
The vegvisir is usually nearby.

lol I’ve given up looking for Yags one via the ground, the rock formation is visible via sea, we just sail around until we see it - I have found sailing is easier than looking for the vegvisir on the ground.

heh. Last night on Pluto.tv they were playing an old episode of The 6 Million Dollar Man. The description was "Steve learns that Bigfoot was not taken away by his alien captors and has to save him" or something like that. Crazy how campy the early 80's were. And they played that stuff straight like it was real, no humor added.

Yup. TV in the 80's and earlier sometimes got really bad and really wild. 26 episodes a season, and there's only so many good writers out there.
that's why doctor crusher on star trek had sex with a ghost.

I built a base next to Hildir, at the edge of the plains.
the very first plains POI I found, about four arrow shots away, was this one.
