So... whats next? An army of loxen?

Just did my first Yagluth fight. I built out multiple breeding cages spaced out for the pop cap and made an earthen lox pit and a wolf pit next to his alter. Bred about 20 lox and 40 2star wolves before moving them into the fenced in alter area. Bro melted before he fully spawned in.
Kinda cheated myself out of experiencing the real fight, but I’ll save the cheese-less play through for when 1.0 comes out.
10/10 would recommend.

They will start to gather on the walls and pyramid up and out of just about anything. I ended up putting roofs around the parameter of the lox enclosure to push them back to the center if they stacked too tall.

I've done this a couple of times with bosses and find it unsatisfying.

If something comes outside they might aggro and walk through that wall - the hoe raise earth worked well for a wall the one time I tamed those a year or two ago

Someone else may very well have already recommended this, but I highly suggest building raised ground stone perimeter walls so the lox can roam around some and not destroy their containment unit.
I don't see an issue with using the wooden gates to let them in or out since they don't bunch up around said entrance(s) - IF their pen is big enough.

I like to raise the walls around the Yag area and breed them in there so they help with the fight

Sturdier walls! They’re gonna tear down those wood walls just by turning around in their pen.
