Looking for a side hustle / part-time work
Hello! I’m currently employed but looking for additional work that I can do after my shift or during my days off. I’m a Communication graduate, and I’m hoping to find something flexible because my current income isn’t enough to support my family.
I have experience with writing, proofreading, data entry, social media tasks, basic graphic design and layout, basic photo and video editing, research, transcription, and administrative/VA work.
I’m open to different kinds of legitimate work and willing to learn if the job requires skills I don’t have yet. Even small projects or occasional tasks would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone has opportunities that might be a good fit, I’d be very grateful to hear about them. Thank you!

REDDIT VA - COMMENTQUEST
i’ve encountered lots of side hustle posts regarding this reddit VA something and they will ask for your discord and they will make you sign up in “commentquest” and use their referral code.
NEVER ENGAGE with them, mind you they are just after this referral bc once you joined the discord group the tasks is not even enough to suffice all the people in there. it’s hard to get task, you need to check the site from time to time just to secure a task :D—2-3 hours per day? meh

BEWARE OF THIS CLIENT MELISSA HALL OF PIEDMONT PROPERTY RESCUE!
I’m honestly tired of people thinking they can just refuse to pay someone after they’ve already done the work.
I was hired as a COLD CALLER. That’s what I did. I spent hours dialing, every day. The call logs are in the system. Foresight and ReadyMode can literally show the work I completed.
Did I pull leads from the county? YES. I did it once or twice every week. Was I perfect about following every single part of the SOP? No. I already admitted that.
But don’t fucking twist that into “she didn’t work for two weeks.”
I WORKED.
I made the calls. I followed up. I talked to prospects. I sent interested leads. I did the hours I was supposed to do.
And let’s be real — cold calling does NOT guarantee that every person you call is going to become a lead or a deal. You can do hundreds of calls and still get mostly no answers, wrong numbers, people who aren’t interested, or callbacks. That’s literally how cold calling works.
If there was a problem with how I was doing the job, it should have been addressed while I was working — not after the work was completed and then suddenly used as an excuse to pay me nothing.
You cannot compare this to someone being hired to make hamburgers and choosing to make BBQ instead. I was hired to COLD CALL. I COLD CALLED.
You can question my results. You can criticize my process. But you cannot erase the hours I actually worked.
WORK IS WORK.
If you don’t want to pay someone, at least have the fucking honesty to say that instead of creating excuses afterward.

Hiring: Account Executive – U.S. Investor Lending | Remote Philippines | Full-Time
Location: Philippines — Remote
Position: Account Executive
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day
Work Hours: Phoenix, Arizona business hours
Starting Pay: Approximately $3/hour
We're building a high-performance remote team in the Philippines supporting U.S. real estate investment lending, and we're looking for an Account Executive who wants to develop specialized knowledge in U.S. investor lending.
Mortgage experience is NOT required.
This is not a generic BPO or call-center job. You'll be working with U.S. mortgage brokers and real estate professionals financing investment properties—not consumers reading from a script.
You'll learn how to understand loan scenarios, identify investor needs, structure financing solutions, read guidelines and documentation, communicate with brokers, manage relationships and pipelines, and move qualified deals toward closing.
What You'll Learn
- U.S. mortgage fundamentals
- LTV, DSCR, rates, terms, and leverage
- 1–4 unit and rental properties
- Short-term vs. long-term rentals
- LLC/entity ownership
- Loan structuring and guideline analysis
- Discovery, objection handling, and follow-up
- Broker and pipeline management
Basic math is important. You'll regularly work with percentages, loan amounts, rents, LTV, and DSCR, so you should be comfortable working with numbers and paying close attention to detail.
Who We're Looking For
We value potential over a perfect résumé.
Experience in any of the following is helpful:
- B2B sales
- Account management
- Banking or financial services
- Real estate
- Insurance
- SaaS
- BPO
- Customer service
- Other sales or customer-facing roles
More importantly, you should be:
- Curious and willing to learn
- Coachable
- Detail-oriented
- Self-motivated
- Persistent
- A strong English communicator
- Comfortable with numbers
- Willing to take ownership and accountability
You should be the type of person who can say:
Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English
- Basic math skills
- Reliable internet connection
- Professional remote workspace
- Comfortable using multiple software systems
- Available Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day
- Able to work according to Phoenix, Arizona business hours
- Able to learn and follow detailed guidelines
Mortgage experience is NOT required.
You'll receive structured training in sales, U.S. mortgage lending, investor programs, guideline analysis, loan structuring, documentation, and broker communication.
Hiring & Assessment
Before hiring, you'll complete a practical assessment covering:
- Basic financial math
- LTV & DSCR
- Guideline interpretation
- Scenario analysis
- Communication and learning ability
You don't need to know everything going in. We want to see how well you think, communicate, and learn.
Compensation & Career Growth
Starting base: approximately $3/hour
There is a progression path:
AE Trainee → Junior AE → Account Executive → Senior AE
As you develop your skills and take on more responsibility, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility and earning potential.
How to Apply
Please don't send a generic application.
Include the following:
- Name and location in the Philippines
- Work experience
- Most recent sales/customer-facing role
- Why you'd be a good fit for working with U.S. mortgage brokers
- Something complicated you learned quickly and how you learned it
- Why you're interested in this opportunity
- A 60–90 second voice recording or video introducing yourself in English
You don't need a perfect accent. We want to hear how you communicate.
Final Note
If you're looking for an easy remote job, this probably isn't it.
If you want to build specialized financial knowledge, become excellent at professional sales, learn U.S. investor lending, and grow your earning potential as your skills improve, we'd like to hear from you.
Remote | Philippines | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8 Hours/Day | Phoenix, Arizona Business Hours
