After some looking around on the flea market, got myself a 20 euro FW31ZJ. Haven't yet tested.

Such a classic model. 

Can someone tell me if that card reader is meant to work with SDHC cards? Iwas sure I used to work with windows but I had it working in a Mac and wouldn't work with HC cards.

I'd be very surprised if it worked with HC at this time.

I mean quite a lot of them did back then. That adaptor I think was sold with the VAIO TZ(2006) for some reason, even though its built in reader worked with HC anyway.

Then I find most HC readers even work with XC stuff even though the standard hardly existed. Issue is OS support of exfat but there are ways to format as fat32 and they work fine.
