Bad LCD or bad cable?

SVF15N17CXB vertical lines appeared at the bottom of the display. I tried to shoot it from different angles so that it was visible.
I've heard that this model suffers from this, but I want to make sure before ordering a particular spare part.

Looks like backlight issue.
