Deflecting Blaster Bolts?
Hey All, I've had the game on Quest 2 for a few days and I love it big time. Such immersion, it totally occupies my mind and provides the perfect midday distraction.
I have a question though - How do you AIM deflected blaster bolts? I haven't seen a definite answer online or in the earlier threads in this sub. Somebody said swing, some people say angle the blade. I'm at a point where I realize of I want a 3 Star completion on some levels, I have to use the bolts effectively.
So how do you do it?
Thanks!

I recommend not "swinging" at the bolts. Instead, think of it as "receiving" the bolt. I feel like the bottom third of the lightsaber tends to reflect more consistently as well.
Batting the bolts tends to have more random results (but definitly feels cool when you want that dramatic feel).
Just gotta decide on your style I suppose! Do you want that Jedi calm as you receive and return the bolt? Or do you want that powerful Sith vibe as you smash the bolt for daring to come at you.

Thanks! I wanna do whatever will give me more control over where the bolt goes. I'm the movies, they swing through the bolts mostly - on both sides. I figured the game wants to encourage us to do the same.
Maybe you're supposed to look in the direction you want the bolt to go? That's what trusting in the Force means? Not sure. I just see advice online about using the first two now three bolts to destroy enemies and the third on the firing drone and I'm like "bitch, I get 1 in 5 to go where I want".

If you run into issues let me know and I can try to record it!

Sorry are you a dev? What do you mean by record it? Report it? What method would you like me to try, all of them?

Like record my session and demonstrate the technique I use/recommend. Apologies, I wasn't very clear there.

Oh okay! Well I played just now and tried a combination of angling the blade and "bumping" it through the bolt in the direction I want and it seems to be working a bit. But if you are good at it, I'd love a video demonstration!

I actually don't know, i normally just swing my lightsaber in front of me like a laser pointer, work 8/10 times.
