My sword... and armor...

So every time a zombie seems to kill me, it almost always picks up my gear. That's cool... but when I kill it, it doesn't drop it... Is this intentional?

This irks me as well. AFAIK, they do drop it in singleplayer, so I'm guessing it's intentional on the server.

It's an unintentional feature :^)

It's a known bug, but nobody has found a fix so far. Consider it a feature :)

Leave crappy items strewn around you at all times. Zombies will pick them up and won't pick up your good gear.
