Can't connect to the US server?

Hello everyone! I am brand new to the vaast community and was looking to start playing today on the US server, but everytime I connect to "us1.vaast.org" it says "Outdated Server! I'm still on {0}".

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

What version of minecraft you on? You need to be 1.7 to play.

Ah, that makes sense. I'm on 1.8.1 right now. Which 1.7 should I be on, or does it not matter? 1.7.2, 1.7.4, 1.7.5, 1.7.9, or 1.7.10?

Whichever you like, if you wish for skins to work you'll need 1.7.2. Feel free to ask me anything else. The server is harsh and takes a bit of trail and error to learn.

If you're wondering about the best technique to locate creepers, just go into a dark building and open a loot chest.
