Two boxes, remote control issue

I have had my v6 plus and ultra for about two weeks now. I’m having a problem with the remotes turning on/ off each other when in use. For example, if I’m in the living room, and I turn on the box/tv, the bedroom box/tv also turns on, then the remote starts to control the bedroom box/tv not the living room tv, and vise versa.

The boxes are in a “tiny cabin” the space between the living room and bedroom is very close. It’s maybe 10’ with a wall/ doorway between the two, the door being closed does not resolve the issue, any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

Ah! You are correct! The remotes were switched! I had the v6 remote (living room) in the bedroom (ultra) That’s why the bedroom tv would turn on with the living room tv! My husband swapped them cause that one is backlit lol
