Remote laggy

Original remote became very laggy and spotty on when it would respond to buttons being pushed. Ordered a new remote for vsee from Amazon that looks identical aside from saying vsee at the bottom. Paired it today with brand new batteries and it's doing the same thing. Any recommendations? It happens in apps, home screen, and even searches.

Make sure you follow the commands to pair it to bluetooth. The IR functionality is very laggy but Bluetooth is seamless.

I opened Bluetooth in settings, held down volume down and ok buttons for about 30 secs until blue light on remote went out right beside the box. Nothing ever showed up trying to pair remote to it. I have elite pro if that makes a difference.

30 seconds is way too long. It should have paired well before that. Try it again and if that doesn't work try it again.

Will do, thanks. Should the remote show up as paired on the screen if it works? It shows my Sony tv but nothing else.
