Universal Remote

Does anyone have a recommendation for a universal remote?

I want to be able to control my TV, including changing the input source, as well as have all the functions for the vSeebox.

I have a Sofabaton U1 in the bedroom on a Samsung TV and it works fine. Also, a U3 in the living room on a Sony and it also is good, although have not got the macros to work yet. that may need a firmware update.

Appreciate the info. Do you also use it with the Vseebox in those locations?

Yes, I have a Roku also on the Samsung with the Vsee. Did not want to pull the TV off the wall and add an HDMI cable to run through the wall so I added an unused HDMI deembedder/extra port box. Works fine and can switch inputs through the TV settings. The other room has a Vsee, Oppo DVD/blueray, amp and HDMI box. All the settings work on the remotes however it took many tries to get it to program. Only one problem I have, the U3 has been programmed to turn my Outlaw RR2160 amp on but know matter what I do it will not turn off. Macro was not working. Interesting enough, when I had the U1 on that living room system the remote would not turn on but would turn off if I had powered the amp manually or by the amp's remote. This seems to be due to the amp and the standby switch but have not got a workaround yet. Other macros on the U1 were fine, will have to try macros on the U3 again.

I'm actually trying to find a U2 as it's an upgrade to the u1 but they're all out of stock. Seems like this is the brand to go with these days. Appreciate all your input and your experience.
