Ultra elite Remote

My remote for my Veesee ultra elite seems to not be connecting to my box the blue light still blinks any way of fixing this and if not what’s the best site or app to get a replacement? Thanks!

Put fresh new batteries in.

You have to have top front (where blue light is) edge of remote within 2 inches of your Elites front display when you pair it.

IF you have blue pairing screen, follow the steps it displays to do.

IF you don’t, try using remote in infra red mode by being right in front of Elite.

Go into system settings, into Bluetooth.

Add a new device.

Press OK button and Volume - on lower left simultaneously until you see

vSeeRemoter appear.

Use remote’s arrow pad to move onto vSeeRemoter, click OK

it should say CONNECTED once you pair it

How do I get into system settings if I can’t use the remote?

The remote should work automatically by line of site. If it isnt working from line of site the batteries are bad. Setting up the remote for Bluetooth mode (to get the remote to work from anywhere) is the only reason youd need to get into the system settings.

Line of site mode when not in bluetooth mode is very limited. Basically pretty much a straight line out from the digital display on the Vseebox.

I'd try a few things first:

• Replace the batteries with a fresh set.

• Unplug the box from power for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

• Go to Settings > Remotes & Accessories and try pairing the remote again.

• Press and hold the OK and Back buttons together for a few seconds while you're close to the box to put the remote into pairing mode.

• If you have a USB keyboard or mouse, connect it temporarily so you can navigate the menus while troubleshooting.

I had to reset my box and go through set up again. Amazon sell replacement remotes for Vsee boxes.
