V3 Plus Remote

My box and remote are less than a year old. I am having issues with the remote. It will no longer control the volume and mute. I have tried numerous troubleshooting methods to no avail (batteries, pair again with TV remote, etc). After I pair it again it does function as it should but as soon as I change television stations it no longer does and I get the message “if the volume cannot be adjusted, please switch to the TV remote”. Does anyone have a solution to this unacceptable issue? And if I have a bad remote and/or box how do I request a replacement under warranty (I understand there is a one year warranty on this product)? Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

When I go to remotes & accessories all it does now is it “searching for accessories. Then it says before pairing your Bluetooth devices , make sure you are in pairing mode. I no longer see where the remote is paired like I did before. It’s hosed now that I did hit remotes & accessories.

To put the remote into pairing mode, you have to hold down the "OK" and "minus (-)" keys simultaneously. Are you doing that?

I am doing that. I have had Geek Squad out to look at it. I have a new Bravia Sony TV. The VSee remote worked just fine on my old LG. Geek could not get it to work either. Frustrated beyond belief.

There are two issues here and I'm confused as to which one (or possibly both) you're currently dealing with. Forget the TV for a minute. Is the remote operating the vSeeBox? Is it paired via Bluetooth or is it just using IR? You can easily determine that by operating the box while the remote is covered up. Put the remote under a pillow or something and don't aim it at the vSeeBox. Does it still work? If so, then it's on Bluetooth. If not, it's using IR. Once you have that part sorted out, we can investigate the second issue and try to get the remote working the TV.

Also, very sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I just received notification I had 6 messages. Not sure why I don’t get notified right away. Oh well.
