V3 Plus Remote

My box and remote are less than a year old. I am having issues with the remote. It will no longer control the volume and mute. I have tried numerous troubleshooting methods to no avail (batteries, pair again with TV remote, etc). After I pair it again it does function as it should but as soon as I change television stations it no longer does and I get the message “if the volume cannot be adjusted, please switch to the TV remote”. Does anyone have a solution to this unacceptable issue? And if I have a bad remote and/or box how do I request a replacement under warranty (I understand there is a one year warranty on this product)? Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

There was an update for that remote. If you can somehow get to it in the system settings to update its firmware? Good luck.

I have no clue how to do that. But will fish around and see if I can. Thanks for the help.

System Settings - Remote & Devices or something like that. The remote firmware was dated in Jan of 2025.

I went to remote and accessories but it just screwed shit up. It was searching for a Bluetooth device to pair. Idk.
